What this is
Not every firm wants another SaaS login. LexOS is a Notion-based practice system - matters, deadlines, time and billing, research, invoicing - sold once, not rented monthly. The Portal is where a buyer signs in, gets guided through an eight-step setup, tours the workspace, and finds the prompt and agent library that makes the template do more than hold data.

The challenge
A template product lives or dies on setup friction. A brilliant Notion system that a buyer abandons during onboarding delivers zero value - so the hard problem wasn't building the template, it was building the ten minutes after purchase that decide whether someone actually adopts it.
How we built it

Gate the good stuff behind a guided path
Sign-in is buyer-only, and the first thing a buyer sees is an eight-step setup flow with progress saved locally, so nobody has to complete it in one sitting or lose their place.

Show the destination before the setup
A product tour walks through the finished workspace - matters, deadlines, time and billing, research, invoicing - before asking the buyer to build their own, so the eight steps feel like assembly, not exploration.

Treat prompts and agents as the ongoing product
A library of 140-plus prompts and 50-plus custom agents, organised around a named 'MATTER Method', gives buyers a reason to return to the portal after setup is done - the one-time purchase keeps compounding in value.

Store almost nothing
The portal deliberately holds only account data - no matter or client data ever touches this system, because the actual practice runs inside the buyer's own Notion workspace, not adnah's servers.

An internal panel for managing portal phases and content as the template itself evolves.
Tech stack
- React 18 + Vite
- A lightweight application shell appropriate for a companion portal rather than a full SaaS product.
- Supabase (minimal footprint)
- Handles only auth and account data by design - explicitly no matter or client data, since that lives in the buyer's own Notion.
- Framer Motion
- Powers the guided-tour transitions and setup-flow interactions.
