Extract every cite
Authorities and record citations are extracted into a single table, including footnotes, string cites and parentheticals, so nothing depends on someone spotting it.

Verify against source
Each authority is read at the cited page and each record cite is checked against the appendix page it names. Record cites that point at the wrong page are the most common and most damaging error in an appellate brief.

History and treatment
Subsequent history and negative treatment are checked for every authority, and anything reversed, superseded or questioned is raised at the top of the report.

Table and delivery
The table of authorities is conformed and paginated against the final document, and delivered with the verification table and a redline of any formatting changes.
