Read the whole document
Narrative, diagram, coded fields, witness list and supplements are read as one document. Most of the useful conflicts in a report sit between two of those sections rather than inside any one of them.

Decode the form
Accident report forms are jurisdiction-specific and heavily coded. We decode the contributing-factor and condition codes for the state that issued it, so what the officer actually recorded is legible.

Cross-check
The diagram is checked against the narrative, the narrative against the witness statements, and all of it against your client's account where you have given it to us. Inconsistencies are listed, not interpreted.

Deliver with a follow-up list
You get the summary plus a list of what else exists and is worth requesting, with the agency and the likely retention window for each.
What we need from you
- The report itself, including any supplements and the diagram page
- The jurisdiction, so the coding conventions on the form are read correctly
- Your client's account of the incident, where you want it compared against the report
What we check before delivery
- Coded fields are decoded against the issuing state's own form key, not a generic legend
- Every flagged inconsistency cites the page and section on both sides of the conflict
- Officer conclusions are reported as the officer's conclusions, never restated as fact
- Illegible or missing pages are reported rather than inferred around

Do you give an opinion on liability?
No. We report what the document records and where it contradicts itself or other accounts. Assessing liability is a legal judgment for the engaging attorney.
Can you obtain the report for us?
We tell you exactly what exists, which agency holds it and how to request it. The request itself goes out under your firm's name.
What if the report is barely legible?
That is common with faxed and scanned copies. We flag exactly which fields cannot be read rather than guessing at them, and tell you whether a cleaner copy is likely to be obtainable.
