Bankruptcy legal support
Bankruptcy schedules and SOFA
Schedules are a data problem with legal consequences: every figure has to agree with every other figure, and an inconsistency is what the trustee opens the meeting with. We populate the whole set from the intake and cross-check it before you see it.

Fixed per unit, not hourly. No minimum engagement. Quoted before we start.
What you receive
Complete bankruptcy schedules and the statement of financial affairs, populated from your intake data.
- A complete schedule set populated from the client's intake data and documents
- The statement of financial affairs completed, including transfer and payment history
- Exemptions applied under the scheme you nominate, with the statutory basis noted per item
- Means test computation where applicable, with the inputs shown
- A consistency report cross-checking schedules, SOFA, pay records and tax returns
- A query list of every point where the intake is incomplete or internally contradictory
What it costs, and what it replaces
Both figures are published ranges for the same unit of work. Ours is fixed before we start; if our process gets faster, that is our gain and your price does not move.

How the work runs
01
Intake reconciliation
We reconcile the questionnaire against the documents before populating anything, because schedules built from an unchecked questionnaire are amended schedules waiting to happen.
02
Population
The schedules and SOFA are populated in your filing software or format, with values sourced and each entry traceable to the document behind it.
03
Exemption and means
Exemptions are applied under the elected scheme with the statutory basis recorded per item, and the means test is computed with the inputs visible rather than buried.
04
Consistency pass
A cross-document consistency check runs across schedules, SOFA, pay records and returns, and a query list of every contradiction goes to you with the draft.
What we need from you
- The completed client intake questionnaire and supporting documents
- Pay records, tax returns and bank statements for the look-back period
- The chapter being filed and the exemption scheme elected
- Your firm's software or the format you file from
What we check before delivery
- Asset values on the schedules are checked against the supporting documents
- Income figures are reconciled against pay records and returns line by line
- Transfers and payments in the look-back period are checked against bank records, not just the questionnaire
- Creditor details are verified against statements for address and account accuracy
When firms send us this
- Consumer practices filing at volume on fixed fees
- Cases with a complicated look-back period needing careful SOFA work
- Firms whose amendment rate has become a workload problem in itself
- Overflow when filings cluster before a deadline
Questions about schedules and sofa
Do you work in our filing software?
Yes, under accounts you control, or we deliver in a format you can import. We do not require you to change filing systems.
Do you advise on exemptions?
No. You elect the scheme and the approach; we apply it consistently and record the statutory basis per item for your review. The election is a legal judgment.
What happens when the intake is incomplete?
You get a query list rather than a set of guesses. The most common cause of amended schedules is a blank filled in rather than asked about.
